  • Can I rent a motorbike for less than 1 month?
We only deal in long-term rental – for one month or longer. Our 300cc and 350cc models are occasionally available for one week rental, so please contact us if this is of interest. If you are looking for short-term rental we can make some recommendations of local short-term rental companies.
  • Can I book in advance?
Yes. Contact us with your dates and motorbike requirements and we will try and match you with a motorbike on the dates you request.
  • Do you deliver the motorbike to me?
Yes, absolutely. We don’t have a shopfront as we only operate long-term rentals, which also helps reduce costs and makes us competitively priced for the quality of motorbikes we rent. If you are within Chiang Mai, we will arrange a time and place to deliver your rental to you for free. Delivery to remote areas outside of the city limits may incur a charge.
  • Where is Chloe Motorbike Rentals located?
We don't have a shopfront. As we specialize in longer term rental having a shop with any available motorbikes would be an unnecessary additional cost we would need to add to rental prices. It also means we are more available to deliver and collect motorbikes, service motorbikes, and respond to renters from any location in the city in short notice as we don't have to man a shop.
  • Are your bikes insured?
Our motorbikes are all covered with the compulsory insurance according to Thai law. We highly recommend checking your travel or health insurance to make sure you have the cover you require.
  • How much is it to rent a motorbike with Chloe Motorbike Rentals?
Our motorbikes are all priced differently, based on age, mileage and also value of the motorbike, i.e. higher spec motorbikes will cost more than standard spec. To see our motorbikes click here.
  • How do I make payment if i want to rent longer than a month?
We take payment by cash or bank transfer (including services such as Wise). This can be done on the date of the motorbike rental renewal.
  • How do I return the bike?
Simply let us know 48 hours before the end of your rental period and we can arrange to collect the motorbike from you from a location within Chiang Mai city.
  • What happens if I have an accident?
Contact us as soon as possible. If you have an accident with a local Thai or resident of Thailand the likelihood is they will contact the police, so send us a message with details of where you are and what happened and we will provide support.
  • How Do I Ride Legally In Thailand?
When renting a motorbike, make sure you are legally allowed to ride a motorbike in Thailand. There are two accepted ways to ride legally on the roads: If you have a driving license from your home country that allows you to ride a motorcycle, then make sure you obtain a Thai-recognised IDP (International Driving Permit) from the country that issued the license. You will need to show both when asked by a traffic police officer. Apply for a Thai Driving License. This may require doing a classroom and practical test. You must also wear a motorcycle helmet. We provide a helmet for free when you rent a motorbike from us.
